The Local Government with the assistance of the Department of Tourism R5 (DoT R5) have conducted a tourism awareness seminar involving all sectors of the community who have stake in the development of the tourism industry in the local setting. It was a well attended seminar. Other more sector specific tourism related trainings will be conducted with the help of the DoT R5.
