124th Philippine Independence Day

JUNE 12, 2022 Today, we celebrate the 124th Philippine Independence Day with the theme: “PAGSUONG SA HAMON NG PANIBAGONG BUKAS (RISE TOWARDS THE CHALLENGE OF NEW BEGINNING)”. Hoisting the Philippine Flag and Offering flowers to give the highest respect, and honour the struggles of many Bravehearts who fought for the country’s freedom and also for our modern-day heroes, our Frontliners. 124th Philippine Independence Day celebration was held at the Old Municipal Building of Sta. Magdalena and participated by Municipal Mayor-Hon. Ramon R. Espela, Sangguniang Bayan Members headed by Municipal Vice Mayor-Hon. Roy A. Fungo, LGU Employees (Department Heads, Regular Employees, JO and COS Employees), Barangay Captains and Barangay Officials, Sta Magdalena Mps Sorppo-PNP, BFP, AFP, DepEd, DILG, and NGAs. Thank you to everyone who came out to celebrate Philippine Independence Day this year, especially to the Sta. Magdalena Municipal Employees Union (SMMEU) for preparing the venue, Ma’am Dominica C. Lee and Ma’am Nena F. Fungo, Sir Vernie Fulgar for singing a Makabayan Song, Pupils from SMCS for their Folk Dance and to the program emcee Sir Gerry Elegado. - - “Ako ay Pilipino, Taas Noo kahit kanino”, Let's celebrate our Independence Day not just today, but every day.
